'54 Met

Here's an advertisement for the 1954 Nash Metropolitan as shown in an issue of the Long Beach (California) Independent.



Nash brought out its' British-built Met around the time that its' merger with (actually takeover of) Hudson to form American Motors was being completed.

Soon, some of the little Metropolitans were being seen in Hudson showrooms alongside the moribund Detroit automaker's "Step-down" Hornets, Wasps, Super Wasps, and Jets.

With Hudson badging, of course.
