The semifinal round of the West Coast Conference's men's basketball tournament took place on Monday with two games at the Orleans Arena.
Game #1:
Zach Novell, Jr. scored 18 points as the top-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs (30-2), with six players scoring in double figures, ran roughshod over the eighth-seeded Pepperdine Waves (16-18) 100-74.
Colbey Ross paced the Waves with 20 points.
Game #2:
Jordan Ford scored 21 points as the second-seeded Saint Mary's Gaels (21-11) held off seventh-seeded San Diego (21-14) 69-62.
Isaiah Wright topped the Toreros with 22 points.

WCC Tournament: Waves, Toreros Advance To Semifinals
At Las Vegas:
The third round of the West Coast Conference's men's basketball tournament took place on Saturday with two games as the Orleans Arena.
Game #1:
Colby Ross scored 26 points to carry the eighth-seeded Pepperdine Waves (16-17) to a 89-72 victory over the #4-seeded San Francisco Dons (21-10).
Game #2:
Isaiah Pineiro scored 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the seventh-seeded San Diego Toreros (21-13) knocked the third-seeded BYU Cougars (19-13) 80-57.

Waves, Toreros (Who End Pilots' Season) Open WCC Tourney With Wins In Vegas

The West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Tournament opened on Thursday with two games at the Orleans Arena.
Game #1:
Darryl Polk, Jr. came off the bench to score 15 points as the eighth-seeded Pepperdine Waves (14-17) held off the #9-seeded Pacific Tigers (14-18) 61-53, despite 22 points and eleven rebounds from the Tigers' Jeremiah Bailey.
Game #2:
Isaiah Pineiro scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the seventh-seeded San Diego Toreros, with all five starters scoring in double figures, overpowered the hapless, tenth-seeded Portland Pilots (7-25) 67-47 as the Pilots ended their season with eighteen consecutive defeats.
