Cardinal Throttle Hokies For First Bowl Win Since 1996 And Likely First Top-Five Finish Sinch 1940

Quarterback Andrew Luck, in what may have been his final game in a Cardinal uniform, threw for four touchdowns on Monday night as Stanford (12-1) won their first bowl since 1996 as they dominated the second half and manhandled Virginia Tech (11-3) 40-12 in the Discover Orange Bowl.  The Cardinal are almost certain to finish ranked in the top five for the first time since 1940.
