DROUGHT ENDS: PATRICK KANE'S OT GOAL SEALS BLACKHAWKS' FIRST STANLEY CUP TITLE SINCE '61

At Philadelphia:

Patrick Kane scored the game-winning goal at 4:06 of overtime as the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 4-3 Wednesday night on the road to win their first Stanley Cup championship since 1961 as they took the final four games to two.  Jonathan Toews was named the Conn Smythe Trophy winner as Most Valuable Player of this year's playoffs.  That's the 'Hawks Brent Seabrook holding the coveted trophy over his head after the game.

Stanley Cup Finals: Blackhawks One Way Away From First Cup Since '61

At Chicago:

Dustin Byfuglien had a four-point night--two goals (one on a power play) and two assists---he's pictured here in the Getty Images photo above---as the Chicago Blackhawks took game five of the Stanley Cup Final on Sunday night at home, defeating the Philadelphia Flyers 7-4.  The Blackhawks, who now lead the series three games to two, can lock up their first Stanley Cup championship since 1961 with a win on Wednesday night in Philadelphia.  Mind you, though, the home team has won every game in this series thus far.

Ville Leino scored what proved to be the game winner with 13:17 remaining in the third period (that's him celebrating with teammate Danny Briere in this Getty Images photo) as the Philadelphia Flyers withstood a late Chicago rally to defeat the visiting Blackhawks 5-3 Friday night in game three of the Stanley Cup Final, which is now all squared at two games apiece.  The series will resume on Sunday in Chicago.

At Philadelphia:

Claude Giroux scored at 5:59 of the first overtime period on Wednesday night as the Philadelphia Flyers took game three of the Stanley Cup Final with a 4-3 home win over the Chicago Blackhawks to cut the Chicago lead in the series to two games to one.

Marian Hossa and Ben Eager scored 28 seconds apart, while Antti Niemi stopped 32 of 33 shots Monday night as the Chicago Blackhawks took a two-games-to-none lead in the Stanley Cup Final with their 2-0 home win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

At Chicago:

Tomas Kopecky scored the game winner with 11:35 remaining in the third period (that's him celebrating with Dave Bolland and Duncan Keith) as the Chicago Blackhawks took the opening game of the Stanley Cup Final on Saturday with a 6-5 home triumph over the Philadelphia Flyers.  The series will resume Monday night in Chicago.
