At Carson, California:
Felipe Mora (14', 60') and Jeremy Ebobisse (23', 80') each scored twice while Diego Valeri (47') and Larrys Mabiala (63') each tallied once as the Portland Timbers equaled their roughly three-week old MLS-era franchise record for most goals in a game by doubling up the Los Angeles Galaxy 6-3 on the road in Wednesday Major League Soccer action.
The victory was the Timbers' fourth successive.
Julian Araujo (34'), Ethan Zubak (55'), and Cristian Pavon (71') each scored once for the Galaxy.
The Timbers will be aiming for a fifth straight victory on Sunday as they will host the San Jose Earthquakes (7:00 PM Pacific Time, Timbers TV Network via KPDX-TV, Portland/ESPN+).
