At San Diego:
Fernando Tatis and Wil Meyers each homered twice as the San Diego Pardres outslugged the St. Louis Cardinals 11-9 in game two of their opening round series, now deadlocked at one game apiece.

At Los Angeles:
Clayton Kershaw pitched eight shutout innings, striking out 13 batters in the process while Mookie Betts had a double and batted in two runs as the Los Angeles Dodgers completed a two-game series of the Milwaukee Brewers by shutting out the Beer City gang 3-0 in game two.
