At Globe Life Field, Arlington, Texas:
Clayton Kershaw chased away some October demons by pitching 5 2/3 innings of five-hit, six-strikeout baseball while Joc Pederson homered in the second inning as the Los Angeles Dodgers recovered from the Saturday heartbreak on Sunday by holding off the Tampa Bay Rays 4-2 in game five of the World Series.
The Dodgers, now up three games to two, can lock up their first World Series title since 1988 with a game-six victory on Tuesday (5:08 PM Pacific Time, FOX).
