NBA Playoffs: 76ers Hold Off Nets In Brooklyn For 3-1 Series Lead; Bucks, Rockets Take 3-0 Series Leads; Nuggets Square Series With Rockets At 2-2

The NBA Playoffs continued on Saturday with four games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Brooklyn:

Joel Embiid scored 31 points and grabbed 16 rebounds as the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Brooklyn Nets 112-108 in game four of their conference quarterfinal series.

Tobias Harris added 24 points and eight rebounds to the Sixers' coffers.

Caris LeVert scored 25 points while D'Angelo Russell and Jarrett Allen each added 21 to pace the Nets.

The 76ers can close out the series, which they now lead three games to one, with a game-five victory back home in Philadelphia on Tuesday night.

At Detroit:

Khris Middleton scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Detroit Pistons 119-103 on the road in game three of their opening-round series.

The Bucks can wrap up the series, which they now lead three games to none, by beating the Pistons in Detroit again on Monday.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At San Antonio:

Nikola Jokic scored 29 points (while grabbing 12 rebounds) while Jamal Murray added 24 as the Denver Nuggets leveled their conference quarterfinal series at two games apiece following their 117-103 game-four road win over the San Antonio Spurs.

LaMarcus Aldridge paced the Spurs with 24 points while grabbing nine rebounds.

At Salt Lake City, Utah:

James Harden, one of six Houston Rockets who scored in double figures, notched 22 points (while dishing out ten assits) as the guests bested the Utah Jazz 104-101 in game three of their first-round series for a three-games-to-none advantage.

Donovan Mitchell topped the Jazz with 34 points.

The Rockets can lock up the series with a game-four victory in Salt Lake City on Monday.
