Douglas Martinez (11') and Damir Kreilach (26') each scored once as Real Salt Lake snapped a three-game losing streak on Wednesday ending the visiting Portland Timbers' five-game winning run (and seven-game unbeaten streak) 2-1 in Major League Soccer action.
Bill Tuiloma scored for the Timbers in the 77th minute.
The Timbers will look to get back on the winning track as they will host the Los Angeles Football Club on Sunday at 7:00 PM Pacific Time (ROOT Sports Northwest/ESPN +).
