At Portland, Oregon:
Sebastian Blanco (38'), Marvin Loria (55'), and Jeremy Ebobisse (90') each scored once on Saturday as the Portland Timbers opened their 10-game Major League Soccer home stand with a 3-1 Cascadia Cup home victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Theo Bair scored the lone Vancouver goal in the 38th minute.
Next up for the Timbers, a home encounter with the Chicago Fire this coming Wednesday night at 8:00 PM Pacific Time (ROOT Sports Northwest, ESPN+).
