At Portland, Oregon:
Cristian Roldan (22') and Raul Ruidiaz (47') each scored once on Friday as the Seattle Sounders copped the Cascadia Cup after their 2-1 road victory over the Portland Timbers in Major League Soccer action.
Diego Valeri scored the Timbers' lone goal in the 54th minute.
The Timbers are set to host Real Salt Lake next Saturday night at 7:30 PM Pacific Time (Timbers TV Network via KPDX-TV, Portland-Vancouver; ESPN+).
