Cougs Break Open Tight Game, Overpower Beavers In Corvallis

At Corvallis, Oregon:

Quarterback Gardner Minshew II threw for 430 yards and five touchdowns on Saturday night as the Washington State Cougars (5-1 overall, 2-1 in Pac-12 play) scored 28 consecutive points to break open a tight game and overpower the Oregon State Beavers (1-5, 0-3) 56-37 on the road.

The Beavers have now dropped 12 consecutive Pac-12 Conference games.
