ALCS: David Price Garners First Postseason Victory As Red Sox Lock Up First Pennant Since 2013; Boston To Get Home-Field Advantage In Fall Classic

At Houston:

David Price picked up his first career postseason victory on Thursday by pitching six solid innings while J.D. Martinez and Rafael Devers each belted a home run as the Boston Red Sox won their first American League pennant in five years by beating the Houston Astros 4-1 on the road in game five and claimed the American League Championship Series four games to one.

The Red Sox will have home-field advantage in this year's World Series against the winner of the Los Angeles-Milwaukee National League Championship Series (which the Dodgers lead three games to two and can wrap it up with a victory in Milwaukee on Friday).
