Albert Rusnak (14') and Jefferson Savarino (61') each scored once as Real Salt Lake defeated the visiting Portland Timbers 2-1 on Saturday night despite the guests' Diego Valeri's goal in the 47th minute, which helped him set a new Major League Soccer-record eighth straight game in which he scored at least once.
The Timbers will try to get back on the winning track next Sunday when they host Orlando City SC at 5:00 PM Pacific Time (Fox Sports One).
