At Portland, Oregon:
Maximiliano Urruti (72') and Diego Valeri (77') each scored a goal in the second half as the Portland Timbers came from behind to defeat the visiting Colorado Rapids 2-1 in the lone Friday Major League Soccer match.
The victory was only the Timbers' second home win in league play this season.
Portland's next game will be at Montreal against the Impact on Sunday, July 27 at 2:00 PM Pacific Time (ROOT Sports Northwest).
