NBA Playoffs: Mavs Level Series With Spurs At One Game Apiece; Heat, Blazers Extend Respective Series Leads To 2-0

The NBA Playoff continued with three games played on Wednesday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Miami:

LeBron James scored 32 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out six assists while Chris Bosh added 20 points of his own as the Miami Heat stretched their conference quarterfinal-series lead to two games to none after holding off the visiting Charlotte Bobcats 101-97, despite 22 points and ten rebounds from the 'Cats' Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At San Antonio:

Monta Ellis scored 21 points while Shawn Marion added 20 as the Dallas Mavericks squared their opening-round series with the San Antonio Spurs at one game apiece after their 113-92 game-two road victory. Manu Ginobili paced the Spurs with 27 points.

At Houston:

LaMarcus Aldridge became the first player in franchise history to have two 40-point playoff games after his 43-point performance as the Portland Trail Blazers head back to Oregon with a two-games-to-none conference quarterfinal-series advantage following their 112-105 game-two road win over the Houston Rockets, despite 32 points and 14 rebounds from the Rockets' Dwight Howard.
