Beavers Trap Roadrunners In Houston

At Houston:

Ethan Thompson and Kylor Kelley each scored 23 points on Wednesday as the Oregon State Beavers (9-1) won their seventh straight game (first time since 1992-93) by outlasting the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners (4-7) 88-78.

The Beavers are off to their best start since starting 15-1 in the 1984-85 season.

Jhivvan Jackson and Keaton Wallace paced the Roadrunners with 28 and 21 points respectively.

New Mexico Bowl: Lobos Spoil Roadrunners' Bowl Debut

At Albuquerque, New Mexico:

Richard McQuarley ran for a pair of touchdowns on Saturday as the New Mexico Lobos (9-4) defeated the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners (6-7) 23-20 in the New Mexico Bowl, the opening salvo of the 2016-17 College Football Bowl season.

The contest was the Roadrunners' first bowl game as a member of the Football Bowl Subdivision.

Beavers Overcome Halftime Deficit, Overtake Roadrunners

At Corvallis, Oregon:

Tess Tinkle scored a career-high 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds on Sunday as the Oregon State Beavers (2-0)overcame an eight-point deficit and defeated the visiting Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners (0-2) 72-64.

Ducks Soar Past Roadrunners

At Eugene, Oregon:

Arsalan Kazemi scored 20 points on Thursday night as the Oregon Ducks (6-1) manhandled visiting Texas-San Antonio (3-3) 95-78.
