BISON CAPUTRE FIFTH STRAIGHT FCS CROWN

At Frisco, Texas:

Quarterback Carson Wentz completed 16 of 30 passes for 197 yards and a touchdown on Saturday afternoon (while also running for 79 yards and two more scores) as the North Dakota State Bison (13-2) won their fifth consecutive Football Championship Subdivision national championship (a record for consecutive national football titles at any level) 37-10 over the Jacksonville State (Alabama) Gamecocks (13-2).

BISON NIP REDBIRDS FOR FOURTH STRAIGHT FCS CROWN

At Frisco, Texas:

Quarterback Carson Wentz threw for 237 yards and a touchdown while running for 87 yards and another score on Saturday as the North Dakota State Bison won their unprecedented fourth straight Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division 1-AA) national title 29-27 over the Illinois State Redbirds.

BISON TRAMPLE OVER TIGERS, CLAIM THIRD STRAIGHT FCS CROWN

At Frisco, Texas:

Brock Jenson threw for a touchdown and ran for another on Saturday as the North Dakota State Bison (15-0) manhandled the Towson Tigers (13-3) 35-7 to win their third consecutive Football Championship Subdivision national football championship, becoming the first school since Appalachian State (2005-7) to take the crown three straight years.  The contest was the swan song for Bison head coach Craig Bohl whose record was 104-32 in eleven seasons at the Fargo campus.

BISON TOP BEARKATS AGAIN TO REPEAT AS FCS CHAMPS

At Frisco, Texas:

Quarterback Brock Jensen ran for three touchdowns and Sam Ojuri scored twice as the North Dakota State Bison (14-1) repeated as NCAA Football Championship Subdivision national champions on Saturday following their 39-13 championship-game triumph over the Sam Houston State Bearkats (11-4) in a rematch of last year's title game.

BISON WIN FCS TITLE

At Frisco, Texas:


Quarterback Brock Jensen threw for 39 yards to D. J. McNorton and ran for a yard for another score as the North Dakota State Bison (14-1) knocked off previously unbeaten Sam Houston State (14-1) 17-6 on Saturday to win their first NCAA Football Championship Subdivision title, their first national title since winning their last Division II title in 1990.
