BISON TRAMPLE OVER TIGERS, CLAIM THIRD STRAIGHT FCS CROWN

At Frisco, Texas:

Brock Jenson threw for a touchdown and ran for another on Saturday as the North Dakota State Bison (15-0) manhandled the Towson Tigers (13-3) 35-7 to win their third consecutive Football Championship Subdivision national football championship, becoming the first school since Appalachian State (2005-7) to take the crown three straight years.  The contest was the swan song for Bison head coach Craig Bohl whose record was 104-32 in eleven seasons at the Fargo campus.

Angus Provides The Points As Beavers Hold Off Pesky Towson

Angus Brandt scored a career-high 27 points on Wednesday night as the Oregon State Beavers (6-2) held off visiting Towson (7-5) 76-67.

Beavers Blow 19-Point Lead, Fall At Home In OT

At Corvallis, Oregon:

Jerrelle Benimon scored 20 points and grabbed a career-high 21 rebounds while Marcus Damas converted an 18-foot shot with 0.8 seconds remaining in overtime as the Towson Tigers (5-8) came back from a 19-point second-half deficit, forced overtime, and knocked off the home-standing Oregon State Beavers (9-3) 67-66 on Saturday, ending the Beavers' five-game winning streak.

Road Win for Beavers

At Towson, Maryland:


The Oregon State Beavers (5-1) defeated the winless Towson Tigers (0-5) on the road 66-46 on Saturday. Devon Collier scored 13 points to pace the Beavers.  Jared Cunningham, Joe Burton, and Roberto Nelson each added 12 for the visitors.
