Jerod Evans threw for 243 yards and touchdowns while running for two more scores on Thursday as the Virginia Tech Hokies (10-4; #22 in the CFP rankings, #18 in the Associated Press poll, #19 in the USA Today/Coaches rankings) overcame a 24-point halftime deficit and upended the Arkansas Razorbacks (7-6) 35-21 in the Belk Bowl.

Liberty Bowl: Hogs Too Much For K-State

At Memphis, Tennessee:

In Saturday's AutoZone Liberty Bowl, running back Alex Collins ran for 185 yards and three touchdowns as the Arkansas Razorbacks (8-5) overpowered the Kansas State Wildcats (6-7) 45-23.

Texas Bowl: Hogs Rout 'Horns

At Houston:

In a meeting of two former Southwest Conference rivals, quarterback Brandon Allen threw for 160 yards and two touchdowns on Monday as the Arkansas Razorbacks (7-6) clinched their first winning season since 2011 with a 31-7 thumping of the Texas Longhorns (6-7) in the Texas Bowl.

Didn't matter if your team had gone 21-5 in two years (complete with a BCS Bowl appearance), 34-17 in four years after ditching the Atlanta Falcons, you get into a motorcycle accident and not reported the fact you had a newly-hired twentysomthing female co-worker riding with you got you sent to the unemployment office.

Cotton Bowl Classic: Hogs Top K-State

At Arlington, Texas:


Joe Adams ran back a punt 51 yards for a touchdown (his fourth such return for a score this season) while quarterback Tyler Wilson threw for two more scores as the #6 Arkansas Razorbacks (11-2) matched a single-season school record for wins with a 29-16 win over the #8 Kansas State Wildcats (10-3) in Friday's Cotton Bowl Classic.

Buckeyes Hold Off Hogs In Nawlins

At New Orleans:

Quarterback Terrelle Pryor threw for 221 yards and two touchdowns and Solomon Thomas intercepted a Ryan Mallett pass with 58 seconds remaining as Ohio State (12-1) defeated Arkansas (10-3) 31-26 in Tuesday night's Allstate Sugar Bowl.  The win was the Buckeyes' first in ten bowl games against teams from the Southeastern Conference.

Hogs Tops Pirates In OT

At Memphis, Tennessee:

Alex Tejada's overtime field goal from 37 yards lifted Arkansas (8-5) to a 20-17 win over East Carolina (9-5) Saturday in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
