In Thursday finale of group-stage play in the MLS Is Back Tournament, Jaroslaw Niezgoda (7') and Jeremy Ebobisse (81') each scored once as the Portland Timbers gained a 2-2 draw with the Los Angeles Football Club to finish atop the Group F standings.
Bradley Wright-Phillips (36') and Mark-Anthony Kaye (40') each scored once for LAFC, who, like the Timbers, had already locked up a berth in the knockout stage.
Portland's next match is a Round-of-16 contest with FC Cincinnati, set to kick off this coming Tuesday at 7:30 PM Pacific Time, to be telecast over ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
