Singer, songwriter, and fiddler Charlie Daniels, the iconic and legendary Country Music Hall of Famer and longtime Grand Ole Opry member best remembered for his 1979 hit "The Devil Went To Georgia,"
passed away on Monday after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke at age 83.
Mr. Daniels' publicist, Don Murray Grubbs, confirmed Charlie's passing.
