In Saturday's XFL inaugural contest, the DC Defenders, helped by a Bradley Sylve pick-six and a Jonathan Celestin recovery of a blocked punt for another touchdown, defeated the visiting Seattle Dragons 31-19.
Defenders quarterback Cardale Jones completed 16 of 26 passes for 235 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
