Four players were elected Tuesday to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Longtime New York Yankees reliever, arguably the best ever, Mariano Rivera becomes the first player to be elected unanimously.
Now-deceased former Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Roy Halladay was elected posthumously.
Seven-time Golden Glove winning pitcher---and Mr. Rivera's Yankees teammate Mike Mussina was also elected.
Longtime Seattle Mariners designated hitter Edgar Martinez, on his final try, also was elected.
They join former relief pitching great Lee Smith and right fielder Harold Baines when they are enshrined this summer at Cooperstown, New York.
