Aretha Franklin, the iconic singer best remembered for such late 1960s hits as "Respect," "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman," and "Chain of Fools," passed away on Thursday (41 years to the day after Elvis Presley's passing) at her Detroit home at age 76.
The cause of Miss Franklin's passing was advance pancreatic cancer.
