In the final College Football Playoff rankings released on Sunday, the Clemson Tigers maintained their position at the top, with the Oklahoma Sooners (up one spot from last week), Georgia Bulldogs (up three) , and Alabama Crimson Tide (up one) all qualifying for the tournament to see who will win the Football Bowl Division's national championship.
Despite holding off Wisconsin for the Big Ten Conference title, the Ohio State Buckeyes settled for fifth place (up three spots) and will miss out on the playoffs.
Southern California climbed up two spots to finish in eighth place, highest ranking for a Pac-12 Conference school.
