Jock Landale scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds on Thursday night as the Saint Mary's Gaels (22-2 overall, 12-1 in WCC play; #20 in both the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches polls) overcame a sluggish shooting performance to defeat the struggling Portland Pilots (9-16, 2-11) 51-41 at home.
Jazz Johnson, who scored 10 points, was the only Pilot who scored in double figures as Portland dropped its' 11th straight game.
