Andrew Shaw (seen here beating goalie Tuukka Rask) scored the game-winning goal at 12:08 of the third overtime period as the Chicago Blackhawks, who at one time in the third period, trailed 3-1, upended the visiting Boston Bruins 4-3 in the opening game of the Stanley Cup Final, played on Wednesday night. This was the fifth-longest game in finals history. The series will resume in Chicago on Saturday night.
