BLACKHAWKS WIN STANLEY CUP; THIRD SUCH TRIUMPH IN SIX YEARS, CLINCH TITLE AT HOME FOR FIRST TIME SINCE '38; DUNCAN KEITH WINS CONN SMYTHE TROPHY AS PLAYOFFS MVP
At Chicago:
One goal each from Duncan Keith (who unanimously won the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoffs Most Valuable Player; that's him, wearing #2, celebrating with Antoine Vermette, #80, after the game) and Patrick Kane each scored a goal while Corey Crawford stopped all 25 shots as the Chicago Blackhawks blanked the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning 2-0 on Monday night and won the Stanley Cup by taking the final four games to two.
The cup title was Chicago's third in six years. This, however, marked the first time since 1938 that the Blackhawks won the cup on home ice.

Stanley Cup Final: Blackhawks Beat Lightning In Tampa; Chicago One Win Away From Third Title In Six Years
At Tampa, Florida:
Antoine Vermette (that's him wearing #80, celebrating with teammates) scored the winning goal early in the third period as the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 on the road in game five of the Stanley Cup Final.
Corey Crawford saved 31 of 32 shots for the Blackhawks, who now lead the series three games to two and can wrap up their third Stanley Cup championship in six years with a game-six victory back home in Chicago on Monday night.

Goals scored by Bryan Bickell and Dave Bolland during a 17-second span in the last 76 seconds of regulation enabled the Chicago Blackhawks to come from behind to upend the Boston Bruins 3-2 on the road on Monday night in game six of the Stanley Cup Final to win their second Stanley Cup title in four years and their fifth overall. This was the fifth-longest game in finals history. The series will resume in Chicago on Saturday night.
