Richie Havens, Folk Singer Who Opened Woodstock, R.I.P.

Richie Havens, the folk singer and guitarist who was the opening act for the 1969 Woodstock music festival, passed away on Monday at his Jersey City, New Jersey home of a heart attack at age 72.
