Stanley Cup Playoffs: Caps Square Series With Rangers; Kings Beat Blues Again To Take 2-0 Lead Home

The Stanley Cup Playoffs continued with two games played on Monday.


EASTERN CONFERENCE:


At New York:


Alex Ovechkin's power-play goal at 12:33 of the third period proved to be the game winner as the Washington Capitals squared their conference semifinal series with the New York Rangers at one game apiece with a 3-2 game-two win on the road.


WESTERN CONFERENCE:


At St. Louis:


Anze Kopitar scored a pair of goals (one of them shorthanded) during a four-tally first-period barrage as the Los Angeles Kings dominated the St. Louis Blues 5-2 on the road in game two for a two-games-to-none conference semifinal series lead.
