Fred Foy, best remembered as the long-time announcer and narrator of the Lone Ranger radio and television series, passed away on Wednesday at his Woburn, Massachusetts home from natural causes at age 89.
For many a listener back in the days of yore, those words that Mr. Foy uttered on the radio still leave goosebumps in those who remember "those thrilling days of yesteryear:"
