Stanley Cup Playoffs: Habs Knock Off Penguins To Tie Series At 1-1; Sharks Top Wings For 2-0 Series Advantage

Two more games were played in the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Sunday.


EASTERN CONFERENCE:


At Pittsburgh:


Mike Cammalleri scored twice (once on the power play) and Jaroslav stopped 38 of 39 shots as the Montreal Canadiens seized home-ice advantage in their conference semifinal with the Pittsburgh Penguins with a 3-1 road win in game two, evening their series at one game apiece.


WESTERN CONFERENCE:


At San Jose, California:


Joe Pavelski scored two power-play goals (and had an assist) and Joe Thornton scored the game winner with 7:23 remaining in the third period as the San Jose Sharks took a two-games-to-none lead in their conference semifinal series with the Detroit Red Wings , winning game two 4-3 at home.
