NBA Playoffs: Magic , Lakers Go Up 3-0

Saturday saw two games being played as the NBA Playoffs continued.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Atlanta:

Rashard Lewis scored 22 points and Dwight Howard added 21 (to go with his 16 rebounds) as the Orlando Magic buried the Atlanta Hawks again, this time on the road in game three, 105-75.  The Magic now lead their conference semifinal series three games to none with a chance to close out the series in Atlanta on Monday night.

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Salt Lake City, Utah:

Kobe Bryant (35 points) and Derek Fisher (20) hit back-to-back three-pointers during an 8-2 run at the end of the game as the Los Angeles Lakers took a three-games-to-none lead in their conference semifinal series with a 111-110 road win in game three with the Utah Jazz.  In the final four seconds, Utah had two chances to score the winning bucket, but Deron Williams (28 points) failed from the top of the key and Wesley Matthews' tip-in at the buzzer did not go through.  The Lakers can close out the series with a win in Salt Lake City on Monday night.
