NCAA Midwest: Jayhawks, Blue Devils Advance To Regional Final

The Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament continued on Friday with four games, two of them in the semifinal round of the Midwest Regional, both contested at CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Game #1:

Malki Newman scored 17 points as the top-seeded Kansas Jayhawks (30-7) held off the fifth-seeded Clemson Tigers (25-10) 80-76.

Gabe DeVoe paced the Tigers with 31 points while grabbing nine rebounds.



Game #2:

With Marvin Bagley III scoring 22 points, the second-seeded Duke Blue Devils (29-7) defeated the 11th-seeded Syracuse Orangemen (23-14) 69-65.



Kansas and Duke will battle it out in Sunday's Midwest Regional Final (2:05 PM Pacific Time, CBS).
