Marcus Shaver, Jr. scored seven of his nine points in overtime on Thursday as the Portland Pilots (9-15 overall, 3-8 in WCC play) knocked off the visiting Pepperdine Waves (4-19, 1-10) 85-76.
Tahirou Diabate converted eight of eleven shots from the field to post a Pilots-leading 19-point performance.
Eric Cooper, Jr. paced the Waves with 19 points himself.
