Cody Journell kicked a 22-yard field goal in overtime as the Virginia Tech Hokies (7-6) defeated the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (9-4) 13-10 in Friday's edition of the Russell Athletic Bowl. The Hokies, who scored the final 13 points of the game, avoided what would have been their first losing season since 1992 as they won their final three games.
