I Don't Think Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Ever Wrote THIS Story

From 1944, we bring you "The Case of the Screaming Bishop," a black-and-white entry from Columbia Pictures' Screen Gems cartoon studio's "Phantasy" series.

This cartoon, a takeoff on Sherlock Holmes, with story (and uncredited voice characterizations) by John McLeish, animation by Jim Armstrong and Grant Simmons, and music by Eddie Kilfeather, was directed by Howard Swift.
