In the regular-season opener for both teams, the Oregon State Beavers overpowered the visiting Portland State Vikings 34-7 on Saturday. Jacquizz Rodgers ran for 103 yards and a career-high three touchdowns for the Beavers, while brother James was on the receiving end of an 87-yard TD pass from quarterback Sean Canfield.
