The First Amendment Lost Thursday
Let me begin by writing that what Don Imus said last week on his syndicated radio show, simulcast of MSNBC, concerning the Rutgers women's basketball team, was absolutely stupid and obnoxious. Nevertheless, with the cancellation this past Thursday by CBS Radio of Mr. Imus' radio show, the day after MSNBC pulled the plug on its' I-Man simulcasts, with both versions being hit by advertiser defections, there seems to be a new chill in the air as far as what you can say over the airwaves are concerned. Meanwhile, you still have garbage eminating from crap---uh----Rap "Music Artists" whom I will not mention here that are violent and degrading that is still being allowed on the air, far worse than the brain-dead and inaccurate descriptions Don said on his now-defunct radio show about the Rutgers women's basketball team.

What does this have to do with the FIRST AMENDMENT.
The FIRST AMENDMENT guarentees the right to speak out against the government. Get a clue fella.
My thinking is that the thought police has been out in force for many years.
