The Niners have now won five consecutive games and will take next weekend off.

Niners Head Into Bye Week With Win Over Broncos In London

Backup quarterback Troy Smith ran for a touchdown and threw 28 yards to Michael Crabtree for another as the San Francisco 49ers (2-6) defeated the Denver Broncos (2-6) 24-16 Sunday in a National Football League contest played at Wembley Stadium (it was designated as a 49ers home game).
