Jimmy G. Helps Lead Niners Past Jags For Fourth Straight Win
At Santa Clara, California:
Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo threw for two touchdowns and ran for another score on Sunday as the San Francisco 49ers (5-10) picked up their fourth successive victory (their longest winning streak in four years), 44-33 over the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars (10-5) in their home finale.
Since starting the season 0-9, the Niners have gone 5-1 in their last six games, 4-0 since "Jimmy G" became their starting quarterback.

Jags Blow 13-Point Lead, Lose Again, Can Coach
After Jacksonville blew a 13-point lead en route to their ninth straight defeat, they pulled the plug on head coach Gus Bradley after he went 14-48 in just under four years as the Jags' boss.

Colin Kaepernick threw for a touchdown and ran for two more on Sunday as the San Francisco 49ers (6-2) throttled the still-winless Jacksonville Jaguars (0-8) 42-10 in a National Football League contest played at London's Wembley Stadium (this was designated a Jags "home" game). The Niners have now won five consecutive games and will take next weekend off.

Niners Smother Jags, Pick Up A Game On Cards

Alex Smith threw for a pair of touchdowns and the defense kept the visitors out of the end zone as the San Francisco 49ers (5-6) ended the Jacksonville Jaguars' (6-5) three game winning streak 20-3 in National Football League action on Sunday. The win, coupled with Tennessee's come-from-behind 20-17 home win over Arizona allowed the Niners to move within two games of first place in the NFC West. San Francisco travels to Seattle for a game next Sunday. The Jags' loss, coupled with their win earlier today at Houston, locked up the AFC South Division title for unbeaten Indianapolis.
