New Mexico Bowl: Aggies (Utah State, That Is) Too Mean For No-So-Mean-Green
At Albuquerque, New Mexico:
Jordan Love threw for 359 yards and four touchdowns on Saturday as the Utah State Aggies (11-2) manhandled the North Texas Mean Green (9-4) 52-13 in the New Mexico Bowl.
Frank Maile served as the Aggies' interim head coach with Matt Wells having left to take the vacant Texas Tech head coaching job.
Former Wisconsin and Oregon State head coach Gary Andersen is set to return to Utah State as the school's head football coach.

Nick Vigil, a linebacker by trade, ran three yards for a touchdown on Saturday and combined with brother Zach for 16 tackles as the Utah State Aggies (10-4) defeated the UTEP Miners (7-6, still in search of their first bowl win since the 1967 Sun Bowl, going 0-6 in bowl games since then) 21-6 in the New Mexico Bowl. The Aggies won a bowl game for the third straight year.

Quarterback Tyler Tettleton, who threw for two touchdowns, ran for the winning score from one yard out with 13 seconds remaining as the Ohio University Bobcats (10-4) overcame a 10-point second-half deficit to overtake the Utah State Aggies (7-6) 24-23 in Saturday's Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. The victory capped off the Bobcats' first ten-win season since 1968.
