VooDoo Knock Off Power In Pittsburgh For First Road Win Of Season

At Pittsburgh:

The New Orleans VooDoo (4-10) racked up their first road win of the Arena Football League season on Saturday with a 59-54 win over the Pittsburgh Power (3-11).  After having lost eight in a row, the VooDoo have now won three of their last five starts.

Ex-LSU QB Jordan Jefferson Helps Pittsburgh Knock Off VooDoo On Road

At New Orleans:

Quarterback Jordan Jefferson (formerly of Louisiana State) completed 19 of 30 passes for five touchdowns and no interceptions as the Pittsburgh Power (1-3) picked up their first Arena Football League victory of the season Friday night, 46-43 on the road over the New Orleans VooDoo (1-3).

Two Home Wins In A Row (Three Out Of Four Overall) For VooDoo

At New Orleans:


Quarterback Kurt Rocco completed a 30-yard touchdown pass to Carlese Franklin with 34 second remaining as the New Orleans VooDoo (3-3) picked up their second straight Arena Football League home win (first time since 2008) on Friday with a 51-48 win over the Pittsburgh Power (2-4).  The victory was the VooDoo's third in their last four starts.  Pittsburgh kicker Collin Wagner failed on a 32-yard field goal (which would have sent the game to overtime) as time expired.

Pittsburgh Ends VooDoo's One-Game Winning Streak

At New Orleans:


The Pittsburgh Power (3-3), thanks to six touchdown passes from quarterback Anthony Morelli, defeated the New Orleans VooDoo (1-5) 56-49 on the road in Thursday Arena Football League action.
