Beavers Bounce Back Against Buffaloes

At Boulder, Colorado:

Ethan Thompson scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds on Sunday as the Oregon State Beavers (11-3 overall, 1-1 in Pac-12 play) overcame a 12-point second-half deficit and knocked off the Colorado Buffaloes (12-3, 1-1) 76-68 on the road.

Zach Reichle added 19 points to the Beavers' coffers.

Tyler Bey topped the Buffs with 20 points while grabbing eight rebounds.

McKinley Wright scored 21 points and dished out eight assists on Thursday night as the Colorado Buffaloes (12-2 overall, 1-0 in Pac-12 play) knocked off the Oregon Ducks (#4 AP, #6 Coaches; 11-3, 0-1) 74-65 at home in the Pac-12 Conference opener for both schools.

Payton Pritchard topped the Ducks with 21 points of his own.

Quarterback Justin Herbert threw for 261 yards and a pair of touchdowns on Friday night as the Oregon Ducks (#13 in both the Associated Press and Amway Coaches polls; 5-1 overall, 3-0 in Pac-12 play) demolished the visiting Colorado Buffaloes (3-3, 1-2) 45-3 for their fifth straight victory.

Beavers Erase 28-Point Third-Quarter Deficit, Knock Off Bufflaoes In Boulder In OT

At Boulder, Colorado:

Quarterback Jack Colletto ran one yard for the game-winning overtime touchdown on Saturday as the Oregon State Beavers (2-6 overall, 1-5 in Pac-12 play) came back from down 28 points early in the third quarter to snap the longest active road losing streak in the Football Bowl Subdivision (22 games) by upending the Colorado Buffaloes (5-3, 2-3) 41-34 as the Beavers ended a 13-game conference losing skid as well.

It was at Boulder that OSU picked up their most recent road victory in 2014.

Troy Brown scored 21 points and Elijah Brown added 17 on Sunday night as the Oregon Ducks (11-3 overall, 1-1 in Pac-12 play) defeated the visiting Colorado Buffaloes (8-6, 0-2) 77-62, despite 20 points from the guests' Namon Wright.

Beavers Wear Out Buffaloes To Open Conference Play

At Corvallis, Oregon:


Stephen Thompson, Jr. scored 22 of his 24 points on Friday as the Oregon State Beavers (9-4) defeated the visiting Colorado Buffaloes (8-5) 76-57 in the Pac-12 Conference opener for both schools.


Tres Tinkle added 23 points to the Beavers' coffers as OSU matched their conference victory total from all of last season.

Buffaloes Pull One Out Against The Beavers In Corvallis

At Corvallis, Oregon:

Quarterback Steven Montez threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Bryce Bobo with 94 seconds remaining on Saturday afternoon as the Colorado Buffaloes (4-3 overall, 1-3 in Pac-12 play) picked up their first conference victory of the season 36-33 over the Oregon State Beavers (1-6, 0-4) on the road, ruining Cory Hall's debut as the Beavers' interim head coach.

Ducks Avenge Recent Defeat At Colorado, Turn Buffaloes Into Hamburger; Home Winning Streak Now At 42 Games

At Eugene, Oregon:

Dillon Brooks scored 23 points on Saturday as the Oregon Ducks (24-4 overall, 13-2 in Pac-12 play; #7 in the Associated Press poll, #8 in the USA Today/Coaches rankings) avenged their defeat back on January 28 at Boulder and stretched their home winning streak---the longest current such streak in Division I---to 42 games following their 101-73 demolition of the Colorado Buffaloes (16-12, 6-9).

Dylan Ennis added 20 points to Oregon's coffers.

It was the Ducks' regular-season home finale as they will wrap up league play at California, then Stanford, before facing Oregon State at Corvallis.

Buffaloes Keep Beavers Winless In Conference Play

At Corvallis, Oregon:

Derrick White scored 20 points and came up with three steals on Thursday night as the Colorado Buffaloes (16-11 overall, 6-8 in Pac-12 play) kept the hapless Oregon State Beavers (4-23, 0-14) winless in conference play following their 60-52 road victory.

The Beavers have now dropped fourteen straight games.

Derrick White scored 17 of his 23 points in the second half on Saturday night as the Colorado Buffaloes (12-10 overall, 2-7 in Pac-12 play) snapped the Oregon Ducks' (19-3, 8-1; #10 in both the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches polls) school-record 17-game winning streak (the third longest active streak in Division I) with a 74-65 home victory.

Buffaloes Top Beavers For First Conference Win; OSU Lone Pac-12 School Without League Victory

At Boulder, Colorado:

George King scored a season-high 24 points on Thursday as the Colorado Buffaloes (11-10 overall, 1-7 in Pac-12 play) picked up their first conference win of the season by holding off the visiting Oregon State Beavers (4-17, 0-8) 85-78, despite 27 points and 11 rebounds from the guests' Drew Eubanks and 26 points from Stephen Thompson, Jr. (a career high).

The Beavers, who last season reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1990, are now the only Pac-12 team without a conference victory.

Buffaloes Stampede Struggling Beavers

At Boulder, Colorado:

Quarterback Steven Montez threw three touchdown passes (of 51, 33, and 63 yards) to Shay Fields on Saturday as the Colorado Buffaloes (4-1 overall, 2-0 in Pac-12 play) dismembered the visiting Oregon State Beavers (1-3, 0-1) 47-6, ruining the Beavers' Pac-12 conference opener.

Oregon State is now 0-10 in conference play under head coach Gary Andersen.

Buffaloes Upend Ducks In Eugene

At Eugene, Oregon:

Quarterback Steven Montez threw for 333 yards and three touchdowns, including the controversial game-winner to Bryce Bobo in the fourth quarter as the Colorado Buffaloes (3-1 overall) upset the home-standing Oregon Ducks (2-2 overall) 41-38 in Saturday's Pac-12 Conference opener for both schools.

Buffaloes' defensive back Ahkello Witherspoon intercepted Ducks' quarterback Dakota Prukop's pass in the end zone in the final minute of play to preserve the Colorado victory.
