Zack Evans and Ed Gainey each scored a defensive touchdown on Saturday as the Saskatchewan Roughriders (12-6) defeated the visiting British Columbia Lions (9-8) 35-16 in the Canadian Football League regular-season finale for the hosts.

The victory assured the Riders of hosting an upcoming Grey Cup Playoff game, either a divisional semifinal (November 11), or possibly the West Division Final (November 18).

Defensive back Ed Gainey came up with four interceptions on Sunday night as the Saskatchewan Roughriders (3-4) delivered a 41-8 frontier-styled fist-beating on the visiting British Columbia Lions (5-3) in Canadian Football League play.

Riders quarterback Kevin Glenn threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns in the victory, which saw the Saskatchewan defense come away with six takeaways at the Lions' expense.

Travis Lulay Leads BC Lions Past Riders In Vancouver

In Saturday Canadian Football League action, quarterback Travis Lulay threw the ball for 338 yards and a touchdown (while running for an additional 32 yards) as the British Columbia Lions (5-2) held off the visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders (2-4) 30-15.

Quarterback Jonathan Jennings threw for four touchdowns and caught a pass for another score on Saturday night as the British Columbia Lions (5-8) manhandled the visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders (2-12) 46-20 in Canadian Football League action.

Andrew Harris ran for 57 yards and a touchdown on nine carries as the British Columbia Lions (13-5) defeated the visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders (8-10) 17-6 on Saturday night in the Canadian Football League regular-season finale for both playoff-bound clubs.
