Ishmael El-Amin scored 15 of his 18 points in the second half on Christmas Day as the Ball State Cardinals (7-6) overpowered the sagging Portland Pilots (8-7) 61-46 in the seventh-place game of the Diamond Head Classic.

The Pilots have now dropped four straight games and six of eight after their 6-1 start.

Payton Pritchard scored a career-high 20 points while Elijah Brown added 17 off the bench on Sunday night as the Oregon Ducks (4-0) stretched the nation's longest current Division I home winning streak to 46 games following their 95-71 domination of the Ball State Cardinals (1-3).

GoDaddy Bowl: Red Wolves Pull Out Late Victory

Backup quarterback Fredi Knighten threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Allen Muse with 32 seconds remaining as the Arkansas State Red Wolves (8-5) defeated the Ball State Cardinals (10-3) 23-20 in Sunday's GoDaddy Bowl.  The Cardinals had a chance to tie the game and send it into overtime, but Scott Secor's 38-yard field goal attempt was blocked.

Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl: UCF On Top Over Ball State

At St. Petersburg, Florida:

Quarterback Blake Bortles threw for three touchdowns and ran for another score as the Central Florida Knights (10-4) downed the Ball State Cardinals (9-4) 38-17 in Friday's Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl.  The game was the Big East-bound Knights' final gridiron clash as a member of Conference USA.
