Sidney Crosby, who won the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff Most Valuable Player (as shown here), assisted on goals from Kris Letang and Patric Hornqvist (empty net) while Brian Dumoulin scored a power-play goal in the first period as the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the San Jose Sharks 3-1 on the road in game six of the Stanley Cup Final, which the Penguins won four games to two and captured their fourth Stanley Cup title, their first since 2009.

Stanley Cup Final: Sharks Knock Off Penguins On Road, Force Game Six Back In San Jose

At Pittsburgh:

Logan Couture had a hand in three goals on Thursday, scoring one and assisting on tallies by Brent Burns and Melker Karlsson (that's him being congratulated by teammates after scoring)while Martin Jones stopped 44 of 46 shots as the San Jose Sharks stayed alive in the Stanley Cup Final with a 4-2 game-five road win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Penguins, who lead the series three games to two, can still wrap up their first title since 2009 with a game-six win in San Jose on Sunday.

Stanley Cup Final: Penguins One Win Away From First Title Since 2009

At San Jose, California:

Ian Cole, Evgeni Malkin (power play; that's him [center] celebrating with Patric Hornqvist and Kris Letang), and Eric Fehr each scored a goal while Matt Murray saved 23 of 24 shots on Monday night as the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the San Jose Sharks 3-1 on the road in game four of the Stanley Cup Final, which the Penguins, who can wrap up their fourth title (their first since 2009) with a game-five win in Pittsburgh on Thursday, now lead three games to one.

Stanley Cup Final: OT Goal Puts Sharks Back In Series.

At San Jose, California:
USP NHL: STANLEY CUP FINAL-PITTSBURGH PENGUINS AT S HKN USA CA
Joonas Donskoi scored the winning goal at 12:18 of overtime on Saturday as the San Jose Sharks defeated the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 in game three of the Stanley Cup Final, which the Penguins still lead two games to one.

In this photo, we see Justin Braun being congratulated by teammates after scoring a first-period goal for the Sharks.

Joel Ward also scored for San Jose.

Stanley Cup Final: Penguins Take 2-0 Series Lead To San Jose

Conor Sheary scored the winning goal at 2:35 of overtime on Wednesday night as the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the visiting San Jose Sharks 2-1 in game two of the Stanley Cup Final, which the Penguins now lead two games to none.

Stanley Cup Final: Late Goal Hands Penguins Series Opener
