LeBron James---named series Most Valuable Player (and shown here)---produced a triple double (27 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists) on Sunday as the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the defending title-holding Golden State Warriors 93-89 on the road in game seven of the NBA Finals and won their first-ever NBA championship-----the first sports crown for a Cleveland club since 1964----four games to three, becoming the first club to overcome a three-games-to-one championship-series deficit.
The Cavaliers became the first team to take game seven of the title series on the road since the Washington Bullets did the trick in Seattle in 1978.
Kyrie Irving added 26 points to the Cavaliers' coffers.
Draymond Green came close to producing a triple double in pacing the Warriors with 32 points---while grabbing 15 rebounds and dishing out nine assists.

At Cleveland:
LeBron James (that's him dunking during the third quarter) scored 41 points and grabbed 11 rebounds on Thursday as the Cleveland Cavaliers came back from a three-games-to-one deficit to tie the NBA Finals at three games apiece following their 115-101 game-six home victory over the Golden State Warriors.
Kyrie Irving added 23 points to the Cavaliers' coffers.
Before he was ejected in the fourth quarter, Stephen Curry paced the Warriors with 30 points while Klay Thompson added 25.
The series (and the NBA Championship) will be decided on Sunday in Oakland, California.

Klay Thompson scored 37 points and Stephen Curry added 25 for the Warriors, who lead the series three games to two, and who can still close out the Cavaliers with a game-six victory in Cleveland on Thursday.

In Friday's fourth game of the NBA Finals, Stephen Curry (shown here trying to pressure Cleveland's Kevin Love) scored 38 points while Klay Thompson added 25 as the Golden State Warriors defeated the home-standing Cleveland Cavaliers 108-97 to take a three-games-to-one series lead.
Kyrie Irving paced the Cavaliers with 34 points while LeBron James added 25 (to go with his 13 rebounds).
The Warriors can lock up their second successive NBA title with a game-five home win in Oakland on Monday.
No team has ever come back from a 3-1 series deficit in the finals to win the NBA championship.
