Houston Bates registered 4 1/2 sacks against his former school while Kenneth Dixon caught an 80-yard pass for a touchdown and Xavier Woods ran back an interception 69 yards for still another score on Friday as the Louisiana State Bulldogs (9-5) dominated the sluggish Fighting Illini of Illinois (6-7) in the Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl.
